Heartbeat 2017 Event A Success!

The Heartbeat Testimonial Dinner was a huge success.  We want to thank the many hearts and hands who worked tirelessly to make all the lovely decorations, create or donate items for the silent auction, assist with set up and clean up, and manage the silent auction to make this a fun and impactful evening to celebrate the work of Hearts for Homes. The event raised over $20,000 because of the generosity of our event and table sponsors, silent auction donors and participants, and individual donations. These funds are vital to fulfilling our mission to support our senior homeowners in need and we are extremely grateful. The impact of your donation could be heard in the testimonials given by just a few of our 67 seniors served. We also want to thank Don Armstrong for his willingness to sharing his inspirational story as our guest speaker. If you want to pick up his book or learn more about him, we encourage you to visit his website, Don Armstrong Live. Congratulations to this year’s Golden Hammer Awardees, Belva Gibson, Carolyn Ganzer, Janet Shelton and the Hilton Garden Inn-Lewisville staff, for their outstanding service in support of Hearts for Homes the years. We cannot thank you enough for taking the time to celebrate this year’s successes and for all your support of the Hearts for Homes mission to serve low-income seniors in need of home repairs.
