Floor Installation in Denton

Through the coordinated efforts of Open Channels PR group, AGL Construction, and Hearts for Homes volunteers, –Shirley and Jim Brown, Jim Wisdom, & Bill Eason –this homeowner’s safety was dramatically improved.  The problem began when the homeowner had a swamp cooler installed on the roof of his mobile home.  When the water began to leak, it damaged the MDF sub-flooring of the trailer.  As is the case of many we help, the low, fixed income  provided little left to allow this senior to have someone fix the problems.  It began to escalate until there were holes in the floor and a decrepit weakness that did not allow for walking on it.  Hearts for Homes and their volunteers spent two days replacing the weak and missing sub-flooring with plywood and installing wood veneer vinyl.
