Annual Christmas Basket Project

Annual Christmas Basket Project

Since 2006, Hearts for Homes has gathered donations of non-perishable food items and household goods to give to its clients at Christmastime to show they are cared for and remembered at this special time of the year.  These donations are placed into sturdy plastic laundry baskets so each client receives two – one with food items and one with household goods.

Want to brighten a Denton County senior’s Christmas this year? Then, consider adopting a basket.  Chose to fund a whole, half or quarter basket!

Whole Basket $100.00

Half Basket $50.00

Quarter Basket $25.00

In early December, volunteers are invited to help gather and sort donations, assemble baskets and deliver them to Hearts for Homes seniors. Hearts for Homes serves over 60 clients every holiday season. Volunteer slots are limited.

“But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord.'” (Luke 2:10-11)
